Hi, I’m Lauren.

Ever Evolving, Woman. Wife. Mom.Yogi. Fitness Lover. Cat Mom. & ChildCare provider.

What started my journey?

When my daughter Lana was born in 2017, I realized that not only did I want to be a positive role model but also, I wanted to share my passion for yoga and fitness with her and others around me. 

Since then I’ve immersed myself in many trainings and my own consistent practice - all of which keep evolving. Much like the feeling of motherhood and life itself- That continuous ebb and flow.

I hope to bring all I’ve learned from my own Pregnancies and Motherhood journey into teaching my prenatal and postnatal clients. My classes always bring awareness to the pelvic floor muscles (Your TRUE core), the breath and educate my student’s to learn to use both effectively while practicing. Inspiring pregnant women to move feeling empowered, tap into their deeper knowing and strength. I’m working to make classes more accessible for families, new moms and littles as I had wished there where more options and space for these connnections while I was on mat leave. Motherhood can feel so isolating and as a Mom we need this connection to other women and support within the community. It really does take a village to raise a child is what I’ve come to relalize. I hope to provide some support through my classes and my company -Mindful Ones-

Company Goals and Inspirations:               

When we aren’t teaching Movement and Minfulness we are educating and learning along side children. <3. We hope to open a space where we can combine our two passions. For now we operate a part-time dayhome and care for children in our “off teaching” time.

We believe it’s so important in this day and age with all the electronic use that children have more time to move, breathe and develop awareness to their emotions. Yoga, Movement & Mindfulness practice for our youth will help build resilience, confidence, focus,compliment any athletic performance, help to regulate emotions and so much more! Kids NEED to move!!! This is how they learn-”Movement activates the neural wiring throughout the body, making the whole body an instrument of learning.”

There are many great tools and lessons hidden within our yoga/fitness practice that can help us better deal with everyday life (Parent life) off of our mat too. I’m a big advocate of LOVE (kindness) and it being your foundation. Finding this within yourself first, sharing and building on it in your relationships, and then creating that in your movement routine and life around you as well.

Essentially what we focus on today will become our reality tomorrow. Be the best you can be for YOU first and that will trickle down to everyone else around you.

What we are teaches the child far more than what we say, so we must be what we want our children to become.
